How to connect using SSHFirst of all you will need to get your SSH account information, this can be found in Control Panel under Webspace/Access -> FTP Account. You are going to need an SSH Client. We recommend a program "PuTTY". It is a free program that gives you SSH access. The Host Name will be yourdomain.com and you need to change the Protocol from Telnet to "SSH" (Port 22). You can save the session by giving it a name. This will save having to enter this information each time you want to use SSH! ![]() If you are connecting for the first time you will be asked to authenticate a server key, click Yes. ![]() Enter the user name and password. The password will not show up while entering it. So enter the password and press enter. ![]() You are now connected by SSH. SSH supported in Business Hosting package and above only |
