Log into the 1&1 Control Panel.

Click on 'E-mail' under 'Basic Settings'

If you want to configure spam settings for multiple accounts at the same time, check the box next to each email you want to configure. If you want to configure spam filtering for a simple email address only select the checkbox next to the appropriate email address. Click on 'Spam Filtering'

Click on the box next to User defined. Now you can select the various options you want from Subject analyzer to whether to use Team Anti-SPAM.
The Team Anti-SPAM option will check incoming mail against a list of known spam servers and will place any email that matches known spammers into the spam folder.
The Bulk mail check will filter emails that are recognized as being sent to too many recepients containing content that has been identified as spam.
While these filters are not perfect, none are, they are example based. So every user contributes to training these filters.
By using the 'Spam' and 'Not Spam' buttons in Webmail you can help train these filters to be more precise.
