How do I download Outlook or Entourage again?


If you need to download Microsoft Outlook or Entourage again or skipped the download when you

first set up the email address you can still download these programs.

In order to download these programs you will need to deactivate and then re enable the exchange

account.

Tip
Deactivate is not the same as delete.


1.Step:
Log into the 1&1 Control Panel http://admin.1and1.com

2.Step:
Click on 'Microsoft Exchange Account Overview' in 'Communication Tools'

3.Step:
Click on 'Edit' next to the email address in question.

4.Step:
Please note
To ensure that your emails and settings remain intact it is imperative

that you keep the email address the same when you enable to account again!


Click on 'Deactivate'

After you Deactivate the email address the system will take several minutes to disable the

account and you will need to refresh the screen and/or log out and log back into the 1&1

Control Panel.
5.Step:
Once the status shows as 'Exchange deactivated' click on 'Edit' again.

6.Step:
Please note
To ensure that your emails and settings remain intact it is imperative

that you keep the email address the same when you enable to account again!

Type in the exact same username again and select the domain name from the drop down menu. Put

in whatever password you want and click 'Ok'

7.Step:
select the option that you want to download outlook or entourage and click on 'Next'

8.Step:
Now you are on the page where you can donwload outlook or entourage.


Please note
If you are using outlook remember to copy your license key as this is

the only time this is displayed.



When you have donwloaded the program of your choice you can click on 'Go To Overview'

or logout. You can now install the program of your choice that you have downloaded.
