How to lock/unlock a domain


You will need to unlock the domain name and then initiate the transfer from the other registrar.
You can contact the other registrar to begin this transfer. You may also keep the domain name
with 1&1 and change the name servers over to the other webhosting company. This will allow
1&1 to host the domain and the other company to host the website.
