What kind of traffic will be billed and what is the cost for additional bandwidth?


Anything transmitted to or leaving the network interface on your Root Server is
accountable. That includes all services, access traffic, protocol overhead and
traffic in our internal company network. Traffic to our backup server and our
update server will not be billed. To check the amount of traffic at any
time please refer to "How can I check the current traffic volume?".

Server packages include monthly bandwidth from 500 to 5,000 GB, depending on the
package. Excess traffic will be billed automatically at the end of the month at a
rate of $.49/GB.

Please note that you are responsible for the security of a root server and as such
you are responsible for all traffic to your server no matter what the
circumstances, so please monitor this.
