How can I order additional SSL Certificates?1. Log in to the 1&1 Control Panel at: https://admin.1and1.com If you have only one package, you will land on the Administration page. If you have more than one package, select the relevant package to reach its Administration page. 2. Select SSL Certificate from the Server Administration section. ![]() 3. Click Order a New SSL Certificate. ![]() 4. Choose the domain for which you want to assign the SSL certificate to. Also enter www if you want the SSL Certificate assigned to http://www.your_domain.com Click Next. ![]() 5. This is the most important step. Click Download and save your private key in a safe place. This is the only time you can get your Private key. This key is not stored anywhere in our system due to security reasons. ![]() 6. If you are using 1&1 MailServers or your default MailServers, and e-mail address named ssladmin@your_domain.com will be created. If you are using external MailServers, then you will be prompted to create an e-mail address named ssladmin@your_domain at the other host's end. A confirmation e-mail will be to this address. You will have to click the link that is sent in the confirmation e-mail. Once you have saved the Private key, check the box and click Next. ![]() 7. After reading the Terms & Conditions, check the box and click Order. ![]() 8. A confirmation is displayed. ![]() |
