How to execute CGI Scripts ending with a .pl extension


The Apache webserver is configured to execute only scripts ending on .cgi as a
CGI-script. If you prefer files ending on .pl to be executed as CGI's you will need
to make the following amendments to your Apache config file "/etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf"

AddHandler cgi-script .cgi .pl
